For many, the term ‘witch’ puts the image of make-believe, long-nosed, green hags with pointy hats and evil cackles into their mind. These characters were often seen riding brooms, casting spells, and working with black cats on Halloween night to stir up trouble. However, modern-day witches of today are very real and very different. In fact, they exist in many different cultures and religions today and are all around us (and no, they don’t come with the pointy nose and evil cackle - well, at least, most don’t).
Despite what many believe, witches are much different than their old-time cartoon depictions and are simply souls that own their power through nature-based practices that can be followed uniquely by many different religions, beliefs, and cultures. Because of this, truly no two witches will share the same practice and will likely conduct their craft very differently. However, despite the differences, one thing witches do seem to have in common is many of the same personality traits and lifestyle choices that lead them to this path. And since more people are feeling a call towards the path of witchcraft now more than ever, we wanted to do a fun article about witchcraft today and talk about some signs that you yourself may be a witch and may not even know it.
So, without further ado and in honor of the spookiest month of the year, here is a list of our top 13 signs that you may be a witch just waiting to awaken. 
To start, the first sign that you may be a witch is that you feel an unparalleled love and connection with nature. Not only do you long to be in it whenever possible, but you may even feel ill, anxious, depressed, or irritable when you aren’t able to be in it. When you are in nature, however, you feel instantly inspired, and ideas just seem to flow endlessly to you. If you feel stressed or anxious, the earth always seems to always have a way of relieving these ill energies from you and helping you to feel like yourself again.
Not to mention, you are also likely very environmentally conscious and have a deep respect for the outside world as well as a powerful sense that you must always do everything you can to honor and protect it.
Next, another sign that you may be a witch is that you are highly intuitive. You may experience premonitions, prophetic dreams, or may even have developed deeper spiritual abilities such as clairvoyance or mediumship. Not to mention, as a result of being highly intuitive, you may also feel things deeply and are likely a lot more tuned in and connected to the energies around you than anyone else.

When we say this, it has different definitions for everyone; however, it could simply just mean that you want to do things that will benefit society, as well as help the people around you. You are likely the friend or the person in your family that others come to for help and advice, and many likely seek comfort in your words. You may also be involved in teaching healing practices such as meditation or yoga or may even be interested in other healing work as a nurse, doctor, or therapist.
Whatever it may be, you just have a natural act for offering words of wisdom and encouragement to those around you and always know exactly the right thing to say.
Next, another sign that you may be a witch is that you feel connected to the cycles of the moon. Throughout time, witches have long been associated with full moons, and it’s not without reason. In fact, the power of the moon is considered to be a guiding light in many practices for witches and is a natural point on which many spells, rituals, and healing practices are based. Because of this, gazing at the moon or standing in its light may also help you to feel more grounded, cleansed, and lifted up.
Next, another big sign that you may be a witch is that you are energized by storms, wind, and weather changes. Next, you may also have this innate ability to be able to manifest things into your life when you are fully emotionally and energetically invested in it. When we use the term ‘manifest,’ we mean that a lot of times, when you really want something to happen, you are able to draw it into your life subconsciously. The same goes for if you really don’t want something to happen; you are oftentimes able to keep it away just by focusing on it.
This is likely something you’ve experienced a lot as a child and throughout your life and is just another way that witches cast energetic intentions out into the world to draw certain energies closer or farther away from them.
Next, another sign that you may be a witch is that you see a deeper meaning for the things all around you. You tend to move through life with the belief that everything happens for a reason and that there is something deeper to look at beyond the surface of a problem or situation. As a result, you also likely pay attention to recurring numbers and symbols around you and believe that there is an important message waiting to be uncovered.
And lastly, another sign that you may be a witch is that you just feel different. You may feel like an old soul, and are often the outsider to those around you, and may tend to have a much different point of view on situations and problems than the majority. Your mind may be open to pondering the depths of magic and the deeper enigmas of life, while other people seem to be caught up in drama, gossip, and other small mundane things.

Overall, every witch is different and may show none or all of these signs. I’ve always loved being in nature ,as a child I grew up in Montréal Quebec very old older then Canada itself and there’s mount royal spent alot of time there when I move somewhere I make sure there’s hiking trails .animals and I connect easily .I at times have dreams of places that seem familiar and I’ve had visitations of those you have passed I can feel storms coming alot is bang on
