Itâs a new year and a new you Zodiac signs, and with so many cosmic changes happening around us right now, that saying has never rung so true. While 2021 was quite a powerful year for transition and change for all of us for a lot of different reasons, 2022 is predicted to help us start bringing those changes into fruition in a new light with an emphasis on alignment, empowerment, and forward movement. For this reason, many of the signs will likely find that their tolerance levels for an unfulfilling life will burst this year, and many changes are likely to take place in a number of areas of our lives as a result.Â
With that said, to start, the year kicks off with a powerful retrograde in Venus carrying over from December 2021 onward until January 29th, 2022, which is bound to shake things up. Since Venus is known symbolically to be the planet of love, when it goes retrograde, energies can be a little uncertain for lovers. As a result, this could stir issues between partners or, potentially, pull partners closer. Either way, youâll have to navigate the situation carefully, as a lot of emotional change and reflection are bound to be taking place at this time. To follow, Mercury will also be going into retrograde on January 14th, heightening our need to reflect and let go of negative aspects of our lives. With so many emotions to think over at this time, this could potentially stir up impatience and emotional frustration within all signs that must be navigated carefully in order to avoid impulsive decision making. Aside from this, Saturn will be getting cozy in the sign of the Aquarius this year, highlighting the energies of hard work, success, luck, and determination, likely giving the signs a much-needed boost into action on many professional and creative endeavors with the potential to bring a possible career change. This will be happening alongside Jupiter, which will be making way through the Pisces and the Aries this year, highlighting expansion, luck, and new beginnings as one of the key themes for all of the signs this year. To top it all off, we will also be taken through another powerful retrograde by Mars at the end of October, which will likely push the signs to re-examine their life and their choices, especially related to career work, allowing plenty of room for change and transition to take place.
Overall, while these are only a few of the major energetic highlights of the year, all around, this will likely be a powerful year of transformation in many different ways. However, to give you a better idea of what the year of 2022 may hold for your Zodiac sign, hereâs is an overview of some of the energies that are likely to be felt by the Zodiac signs this new year and what each sign can do to try to make the most of them. Letâs get started.Â

You seemingly know these feelings very well - weariness, the urge to not get out of your PJs, the feeling of âno amount of makeup can conceal my tired faceâ and so on. Weâve all been there - sleeping early only to wake up twice as tired as we were before we tuck ourselves to sleep. Have you asked yourselves why? Some of you may have stopped drinking caffeine drinks. A few may have been acting so busy to disregard these feelings or some of you may have not even noticed these patterns at all, and many may have sought medical advice.
Without further ado, the purpose of this article is to help you have a better sleep at night through a ritual.
Why a bedtime ritual? Most of us are okay with the typical routine in which we commonly tuck ourselves to bed, close our eyes, and allow our bodies to doze off. Like how we act today illustrates the possibilities of whatâs forthcoming, what we do before bedtime determines a consequential influence on how effectively we will do when we get out of bed the next day.

Welcome to this blog post, Witches and Lovers! You and I may share almost the same sentiments towards the approaching Valentine's. One thought and your stomach are in knots? I feel you.
With the recent events centering around Covid-19, it is normal to feel nostalgic for the traditional romantic movie nights, long walks by the beach, restaurant dates, traveling in another city, what else? Name it, we all wish and yearn for this entire pandemic to soon be over. But just like Warren Buffettâs 5/25 Rule, why donât we focus more on things that we can control and assess what really matters?
For one, it wouldnât take time to reflect that what does matter is who we share this Valentines with and secondly, how we can make them feel more special during this event. After all, Valentine's doesnât require any place or any terms at all as long as whatever we plan to do comes from our hearts.

Welcome to our collective favourite season, witchy folk! Perhaps thatâs a generalization, but the Autumnal vibes are an absolute mood in the spiritual community, and for so many reasons. This season we have two Sabbats to celebrate; the first of those is Mabon, otherwise known as the Autumn Equinox, and the hemispherical counterpart to Ostara, in which we celebrate the Spring Equinox.Â
Not only is Autumn the season of flavoured lattes and pumpkins, it is the season of the colours of the Earth â oranges and reds and browns, greens and glorious yellows. We have beautiful harvest vegetables and burgeoning berries; a veritable feast of offerings from our beautiful Mother Earth to celebrate.Â
For Mabon, we focus on the beginning of the end of the harvest season and the descent into wintery darkness. Spiritually, we are reaching the closing-down portion of the year â as the days get shorter and the evenings are longer, we assess the outcomes of our labour (physical, financial, emotional, spiritual) across the past twelve months. Summer is celebration, and Autumn is when we reap what weâve sown. So, as we draw towards the end of this summertime haze and commence the darkening and hibernation periods, weâre beginning to wind down business and take stock of what weâve achieved.Â
Seasonal altars are a great way to focus our attentions and intentions towards that for which we are grateful, and the things that we want to manifest in our lives. Not only does the season dictate our physical activities, it also directs our spiritual lives, and the altar is the witchâs way of centring that energy.
With so much to love and celebrate about Autumn, letâs take a look at some traditional (and not-so-traditional) items to feature on our altars during this time.Â

If youâre unfamiliar to Yule, it is the annual Pagan celebration of the Winter Solstice. Many Wiccans also mark it as the rebirth of the Great horned hunter god. The event historically was celebrated with candles, bonfires, and/or the burning of the yule log. Since Yule is a celebration of the sun returning or being reborn, sources of light are a major part. People would then get together around the fire, share meals, and exchange gifts. The Yule holiday and traditions still continue today and are celebrated and mirror by many cultures and religions around the world.

The moon has always been fascinating to us human beings. Sometimes it is the subject of poets and artists, it keeps revealing beautiful discoveries to ufologists and scientists.Â
Nothing lights up the sky during the night like the moon. Everyone would gaze up to see and admire its beauty. Some would even offer to get the moon as a measure of their love. But the moon is more than just a fascinating celestial body. It exudes strong healing energy especially the full and new moon. The moon, especially the Full Moon, stirs up our emotions and amplify mystical powers. When the moon is shining bright and full it is best to harness energy for healing, the best time for meditating, recharging, and clearing chakras. This is why we celebrate it and why we have full moon rituals.Â
