As we transition out of the last month of winter, we make our way into inspiring new beginnings in the month of March. With the spring equinox happening on March 20th, this month, we prepare to welcome the energies of change, transformation, and forward movement as we begin to blossom into our most authentic selves like never before. With that said, we will kick off the month in the wise and sensitive Pisces sign, urging the signs to delve deeper into themselves and their connections to the world around them. Since Pisces is directly connected to the water element and the divine world, March is expected to bring some highly intuitive energies into our space, allowing us to be more receptive to the changes happening within and around us. Expressive in nature, Pisces' influence will likely help us to channel a deeper connection with our creative passions to help us develop a strong connection to our most authentic energy and shed away what no longer resonates. Not to mention, since Pisces is the last member of the Zodiac, you can bet that this adaptable energy will guide us to our last stage of development before we start our new Zodiac cycle, working to help us move forward without any lingering emotional or energetic baggage.Â
Aside from this, there is also a lot of planetary shifts happening this month, with Mercury, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn, just to name a few. With so much energetic change happening, this could stir up a lot of new inspiring, ambitious, and loving energies within us. However, it could also bring new expansion, readjustment, and change that could have things feeling a little rocky at times and could require some patience to work through. To top it off, we will then end the month in the ambitious and self-assured Aries sign, helping to boost us ahead once and for all in new directions in our lives, ready to embrace all that life throws at us.Â
Overall, March 2022 is predicted to be a month where we start picking up the pace to get a move on all the things we’ve been planning out over the last several weeks. But, to give you some deeper insight into what you can expect this month, today, we're going to touch on what energies and changes each Zodiac sign can expect throughout March and how you can adjust your life to make the most of it.

However, this powerful sabbat signifies more than just the physical changes happening on the earth around us and also brings our attention to the light and new changes that are beginning to grow within us.Â

Moving through the month of December, the Wheel of the Year has spun once more as we begin to slow down and prepare for our last and most festive sabbath of the year, known as Yule. Kicking off on December 21st, Yule (also known as the Winter Solstice) marks the shortest day and longest night of the year, urging us to delve into our own darkness as a result. Because of this, Yule is a powerful time of finding stillness within ourselves as nature goes into its winter slumber fully and comfort and coziness take over our lives. For this reason, this sabbat is a great time for self-care practices, deep reflection, and grounding as we begin to align with the slower energy of the end of the year.
However, aside from finding peace and comfort in the dark months ahead, this sabbat also marks the return of the sun, with daylight continuously growing from here on out until we reach the Summer Solstice. Therefore, while we work to find a way to rest and recover in the darkness now, our minds are also getting ready to set intentions for the coming spring, making this a jovial time of celebration, rebirth, planning, and preparation as we contemplate all of our goals for the new year ahead.Â
With so much going on energetically with this powerful winter sabbat, it can be hard to know what the best way to embrace all the healing energies it has to offer is. For that reason, today, we wanted to share a fun article covering some of our personal favorite celebration and ritual ideas for Yule that witches that are in the broom closet, as well as witches who are out of the broom closet, can enjoy. As we move out of the chaotic month of November, we begin making our way into the healing month of December, welcoming in a plethora of new energies. Finally, the intense vibes of Scorpio season that left many of us feeling emotionally vulnerable last month have passed, and we now enter the cold month of December feeling hopeful, as this month is all about living it up the way you deserve.Â
With that said, starting on November 21st, we kicked off the ambitious and adventurous Sagittarius season, preparing us for a month of adventure ahead. More than anything, Sagittarius is very fun-loving and always has a special way of guiding us to a more positive headspace to start living a more fulfilling life. Not to mention, the Sagittarius is also ruled by Jupiter, the planet of expansion and luck. Therefore, we can expect some new changes to enter our lives as we become more clear with the life we want to live.Â
Aside from this, this month, we will also be wrapping up the last eclipse of this year with a total solar eclipse in Sagittarius on December 4th. Because of its nature, this will likely stir up feelings of closure as well as clearer insight for all signs, which could either bring about a new inspired vision or some repressed emotions that you need to work through. Either way, trusting your intuition will be the way to get through it. To follow, we then have a full moon in Gemini making its way into our space on December 18th, followed by a retrograde in Venus hours later, which could stir up an uncertain but powerful time for cleansing and release in our relationships as we become more in touch with ourselves, our worth, and our values. And finally, this is then topped off by the Winter Solstice as well as the start of the Capricorn season on December 21st-22nd, marking the beginning of winter, pushing us to bundle deep within ourselves as we go through a powerful period of reflection.Â
Overall, as you can see, December is going to be packed with powerful energy that will help to guide us to further alignment this month. With that said, to give you some insight into what you can expect to feel personally throughout the month, today, we're going to touch on what energies and changes each Zodiac sign can expect throughout December and how you can truly make the most of it.Â

However, September isn’t just a welcoming period for the autumn itself, but for the second of the three harvest festivals of the Wheel of the Year, known as Mabon. Mabon, also known as the autumn equinox, is the sabbat that marks the time of which day and night are equal, when we gather our crops once more and enjoy the last bit of warmth before the cooler months take over. On a deeper level, Mabon also has many powerful energetic transitions taking place, which can push us to seek change, deeper spiritual connections, and inner wisdom as we approach one of the most symbolic days of the year.Â
With so much going on energetically, it can be hard to know the best ways to celebrate the energy of the season and fully welcome it into your space. Spiritually, it is a powerful time of self-reflection, letting go, and transition as the veil between worlds grows thin, making our magic stronger than ever. As we transition out of the blazing heat of July, we begin to slowly shift into the cooler days of the harvest season. With the coming of August, we enter the first of the three harvest festivals known as Lughnasadh. Lughnasadh (also known as the Lammas or the grain harvest) is one of the eight sabbats of the Wheel of the Year that marks the start of the harvest season. This is the time of which we begin to reap the rewards of the labor we’ve put in the last few months and give thanks to the earth for its abundant harvest. However, Lughnasadh also means we begin preparation for the cooler months of the second half of the year and begin to shift our focus towards the act of slowing down. Therefore, this is a very significant time of mental and physical change for everyone. And today, we’re going to talk all about it.Â
In this article, we're going to go over everything having to do with Lughnasadh. From its history to its correspondences, traditions, and a few ways you can celebrate it today, let’s dive in and get started with everything you need to know about this merry sabbat.Â

Imbolc is considered the midpoint between the Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. It is recognized from February 1 – 2 and is also known as, Imbolg, Brigid’s Day, Oimelc or Candlemas. It’s a time to celebrate the recovery of the Goddess Brigid (It's pronounced “Breej,” or in some parts of Ireland, closer to “Breeds.”). Brigid is the daughter of Dagda and is one of the most well-known Goddesses in Irish Lore. Brigid is a Goddess that is usually celebrated and honored during Imbolc. She is a Goddess of the hearth, home, and inspiration. A protector of women and children and she is also associated with midwifery. The Goddess Brigid is well-connected to fire and encompasses all things to do with poetry, healing, and blacksmithing.
Imbolc is the first Fire Festival in the dark half of the wheel. This is a festival where we begin to see light and life returning to the earth. The Earth is being reborn with new life!Â

Welcome to our collective favourite season, witchy folk! Perhaps that’s a generalization, but the Autumnal vibes are an absolute mood in the spiritual community, and for so many reasons. This season we have two Sabbats to celebrate; the first of those is Mabon, otherwise known as the Autumn Equinox, and the hemispherical counterpart to Ostara, in which we celebrate the Spring Equinox.Â
Not only is Autumn the season of flavoured lattes and pumpkins, it is the season of the colours of the Earth – oranges and reds and browns, greens and glorious yellows. We have beautiful harvest vegetables and burgeoning berries; a veritable feast of offerings from our beautiful Mother Earth to celebrate.Â
For Mabon, we focus on the beginning of the end of the harvest season and the descent into wintery darkness. Spiritually, we are reaching the closing-down portion of the year – as the days get shorter and the evenings are longer, we assess the outcomes of our labour (physical, financial, emotional, spiritual) across the past twelve months. Summer is celebration, and Autumn is when we reap what we’ve sown. So, as we draw towards the end of this summertime haze and commence the darkening and hibernation periods, we’re beginning to wind down business and take stock of what we’ve achieved.Â
Seasonal altars are a great way to focus our attentions and intentions towards that for which we are grateful, and the things that we want to manifest in our lives. Not only does the season dictate our physical activities, it also directs our spiritual lives, and the altar is the witch’s way of centring that energy.
With so much to love and celebrate about Autumn, let’s take a look at some traditional (and not-so-traditional) items to feature on our altars during this time.Â
